Feckin' great. Just what I needed. The course I was supposed to take on Advanced Legal Ethics & Prof Resp (which this term was supposed to be in relation to Non-Wizard Part-Humans) was canceled because there were two of use who signed up for it this term. They decided that it wasn't worth only having two people in the class to run it this term and offered it to us in the fall. One problem. I won't be here in the fall. And since they won't let me do an Independent Study because I passed Legal Ethics & Prof Resp I with such high marks, I get to take the only class that is open to me (due to what I've already taken/what is an option for Civil Law curriculum, etc.). I was in my adviser's office for an hour making my case. And I still lost. Granted, I didn't have much of an argument, but I still tried anyway. But all I got was "I'm sorry McLaggen, but this is your only option".
Family Law Seminar and Practice: Child, Parent and State.
God fucking damnit. I already took the Family Court Practice and I passed just fine. But I guess this is "different". Fantastic. Get to deal with child issues. Again. Yay. Ironic since... I need a drink. Or seven.
I love this last minute shite. Couldn't feckin' do this a few weeks ago when I had a shot at gettin' into something else? Even tried contacting who was supposed to be running the class so I could maybe get a shot at an Independent Study, but no dice. He told me to take it like a man and deal with it.
